My father had a factory in birdsboro and I happen to stumble onto sals pizza sal is friendly outgoing and food was out of this world
Fast forward how many years later nothing changed sals is still the best pizza and sandwich shop around

It's always in small towns across America that you find the best food and people. This is the same story for Sal's. We stopped by on a rainy Sunday back to Maryland and while it doesn't look like much from the outside, it was an awesome place.
The menu is up on a ceiling drop down (I don't know how to describe it but think like McDonalds or Dominos style menu board) with pictures and there's also a physical menu book if that's more your style. Order at the counter and then wait in the little di inn room for your delicacy to be brought to you.
The meals were amazing- they came with a starter salad which we were surprised. The pasta dishes themselves were steaming hot and yummy and delivered by Sal himself (you can listen to him talk about the Eagles game while in the kitchen).
A great hole in the wall option all in all. The bathroom has a freaky mirror while you're on the toilet but if you can get over that, then it's definitely a 5 star experience. -

Sal is simply the best. Fresh ingredients fresh food everything is good. I highly recommend any buffalo style dish. Nobody can touch his food I mean nobody

Not only is the food fresh and delicious but the owner really makes the whole experience entertaining! Sal is a great host and chef! If you haven't been there, DO IT! Pizza are fresh made to order, cheese steak is great, and his fries are EPIC.

Bets pizzeria in Birdsboro and maybe in the Exeter area!
Real Italiano Siciliano!
Only problem is he leaves for a long time. Since it's a family business, they shut down and I think they go to Siciliy since they still have family there.
Still, delicious pizza and Stromboli!!!
